Episode 4 Ladies in Red Recap
The California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team investigates the murder of a high-end fashion designer named Amanda Shaw, who was found strangled in her showroom.
The team discovers that Amanda was in debt to a loan shark, who is a suspect in her murder.
However, as they delve deeper into the case, they also uncover a number of secrets and betrayals within the fashion industry, including a rival designer who may have been jealous of Amanda’s success, and a model who was having an affair with Amanda’s business partner.
Meanwhile, Patrick Jane (played by Simon Baker) takes an interest in the fashion industry, and uses his skills of observation to help the team identify the killer.
He also develops a romantic interest in Kristina Frye, a well-known psychic who is helping the police with the case.
However, as the investigation continues, Jane begins to suspect that Kristina may not be a legitimate psychic, and that she may have her own agenda.
He confronts her and learns that she is actually a fraud, but he still finds himself drawn to her.
In the end, the team discovers that the loan shark was not the killer, and that the murder was actually committed by Amanda’s business partner, who was trying to frame the loan shark.
