Episode title: Whistleblower

Devon’s final day as a resident.

He and Conrad face a moral dilemma over a suicidal patient that needs a transplant.

Tyler supposably has taken too much acetaminophen by mistake. They start the treatment.

Devon and Conrad talk with Tyler to try to understand what happened.

He tells them that earlier, he was removed from his team, his girlfriend broke up with him, and his parents were getting a divorce then. Then confessed that he tried to kill himself.

Doctors discover that his liver is failing, and needs a transplant.

But, because Tyler tried to commit suicide, he will not be eligible for a liver transplant, according to the hospital rules.

Devon wants to prove that he’s no longer a resident and wants to lie to help Tyler receive the organ.

Conrad goes to the board and lies and says that Tyler didn’t try to commit suicide and he gets approved for the organ transplant.

After the surgery is over and everything’s fine, the surgeon listens to Conrad talking to Kyle about his suicide attempt.

Then, Conrad tells Devon that he is going to propose to Nic.

Conrad is the new chief of residents but gets fired when Wong Finds out he lied to get the transplant.

Bell decides to take action against Cain.

Cain transfers another patient to the Long-term acute care facility.

When Bell finds out that Cain did this, he confronts him.

He doesn’t like that Cain is gaming the system to boost his stats at the patient’s expenses.

Then, Cain leaves the hospital, and his resident doing Chirurgie that goes wrong and Bell has to intervein.

Bell asks for a board meeting to deal with Cain but instead, Cain is elected the new chief of the surgeons.

Adaku goes into labor prematurely.

Mina takes her to the hospital, but when they arrive at the hospital, the OB Chief isn’t there yet, and Adaku has to wait.

After more exams, it’s found out that Adaku’s heart valve is failing.

Nina wants to take Adaku to the operating block but Dr. AJ says no.

Meanwhile, the Adaku heart valve fails.

She was forced to deliver while almost dying but her heart valve was fixed and Mina is taking care of the baby while Adaku is recovering.

Mina apologized to Dr. AJ.
