Independence day
The first episode was really interesting and gave us a peek at what the show is all about. Now we’re expecting to know more if Hawkins will uncover what Dr. has been hiding from everybody? Will Pravesh get along with Hawkins and what can we expect in the next episodes?
The teacher needs a new Heart
This episode starts with Dr. Hawkins at career day in school.
He talks about what made him want to be a Doctor and help others.
Suddenly, the teacher beggins to sweat, and the heart starts failling. He was waiting for a compatible heart for years.
The teacher’s heart gets relocated
Dr. Hunter goes hunting with some congressmen. One congressman has a heart attack and shots accidentally other hunters.
For Dr. Bell, taking good care of the congressman is important for Chastain’s image and pockets.
Dr bell and Dr hunter explain to congressman Dunlap that he will need a transplant and Dr. Bell says he will reallocate the heart that was meant for Micah.
Dr. Bell decides to cancel the teacher’s heart surgery and relocates it to the congressman.
Conrad didn’t like what Dr. Bell did and Conrad talks with Bell and tries to convince him to go back with the heart reallocation, without success.
He swaps the blood samples to trick Dr. Bell to think that there isn’t a mach. His plan fails.
Conrad finds an alternative: Dr. Bell has to convince the girl’s mother to turn off life support.
It’s the only way for Micah receive the heart.
Today is independence day for Pravesh. Hawkins left him responsible for 20 interns all alone.
Final thoughts
This episode was centered on a heart transplant and shows well the medical system’s corruption. Dr. Bell shows being more interested in money and reputation than doing the first thing hospitals are there for, taking care of the patients and getting them better.
